Contractors are required to be licensed, bonded and insured. If you are considering hiring someone for construction or handyman work, make sure they are licensed. By hiring licensed contractors you are protected against shoddy workmanship, incomplete or unsatisfactory work, and even on the job site injuries.

LEAD BASED PAINT RENOVATORS LICENSE. If your home or business was constructed prior to 1978, Federal Law requires all contractors who bid or work on your property to have a Lead Based Paint Renovators License. Special classes and training are required to obtain this license. If you are considering hiring a contractor to work on your home and it was built prior to 1978 they are required by law to have this license. Don't put yourself, family or co-workers health at risk. Lead is poisonous!
